COVID-19 Resources 2020

Attention Individuals with SCI/D experiencing financial difficulties due to COVID-19:

Fall 2020

NCSCIA Individual COVID-19 Relief Grant
Support for Expenses Related to COVID-19
6/10/20

Overview:

NCSCIA recently received several grants to help with COVID-19 related expenses for the SCI/D community in North Carolina. We are grateful to Numotion Foundation, Craig H. Neilsen Foundation and United Spinal for their generous donations and support. The grants will allow us to provide financial relief to people with SCI/D who are experiencing more hardships than normal due to COVID-19.

We will be providing grant relief in several phases. Currently, NCSCIA is providing $200 gift cards for groceries and supplies for twenty-five individuals in North Carolina with SCI/D who are experiencing financial difficulty due to COVID-19. This may also include the loss of income/job of the breadwinner for the household. Applicants will have their choice of Walmart or Target gift cards.

Additional Supplies:

NCSCIA also has limited number of N95 face masks and hand sanitizer available for our members who are in need.
